of <h1>Approval Granted for IT and ITES Special Economic Zone Under SEZ Act, 2005 Covering 12.15 Hectares</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Village Tadakanapalli, Rural Kurnool, District Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. This approval follows the proposal by a private organization under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of necessary requirements, issued a letter of approval on September 10, 2008. The notified area for the SEZ covers specific survey numbers totaling 12.15 hectares.
