Central Government Sets Up Approval Committee for Electronic Hardware & IT SEZ in Andhra Pradesh under Rule 5A.

The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused on electronic hardware, IT, and IT-enabled services in Kandukur, Ranga Reddy District, Andhra Pradesh. This SEZ is to be developed by M/s. S2Tech. Com India Private Limited. The committee comprises various ex-officio members, including the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, two officers from Andhra Pradesh and a representative from the developer are included as members.
