of <h1>SEZ for IT Services in Gambheeram Village Recognized as Inland Container Depot Under Sections 53 and 7</h1> The Central Government has designated April 24, 2009, as the date from which the sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology and IT-enabled services at Gambheeram Village, Anandapuram Mandal, Vishakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh, will be recognized as an Inland Container Depot (ICD). This designation is made under the authority of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962. The development is to be undertaken by Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited.
