of <h1>Navi Mumbai SEZ designated as Inland Container Depot under Section 53 of SEZ Act and Section 7 of Customs Act.</h1> The Central Government has designated the multi-product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Dronagiri, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, as an Inland Container Depot (ICD) effective from April 23, 2009. This designation is in accordance with the powers granted under sub-section (2) of Section 53 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962. The development of this SEZ is undertaken by Navi Mumbai SEZ Private Limited.
