of <h1>India Revises Premature Redemption of IDBI Special Security 2024, Adjusts Redemption Amount and Outstanding Stock Figures</h1> The Government of India has amended a previous notification regarding the premature redemption of a portion of the outstanding stock of Non-interest bearing Government of IDBI Special Security, 2024. The amendment changes the aggregate redemption amount from Rs. 1,500 crore to Rs. 1,225 crore, with allocations of Rs. 750 crore for 2007-2008 and Rs. 475 crore for 2008-2009. Additionally, the outstanding stock of the Special Security is revised from Rs. 5,866 crore to Rs. 6,141 crore. This notification is issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs.
