Central Excise rule amendment expands the listed countries in the provisos to rule 18 and rule 19 immediately. The Central Excise Rules, 2017 are amended to expand the list of countries covered in the provisos to rule 18 and rule 19. The substituted words now include Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Mauritius in place of the earlier four-country reference. The amendment comes into force with immediate effect.
