The committee is formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and includes the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, along with members from various government departments such as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of Gujarat and a representative from the developer are included, with provisions for representation in the absence of the Development Commissioner.
