of <h1>Commissioner of Customs Appointed as Common Adjudicating Authority for Show Cause Notice Under Notification No. 29/2009-Cus (N.T.)</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Customs at the Inland Container Depot in Tughlakabad, New Delhi, as the common adjudicating authority. This appointment allows the Commissioner to exercise powers and duties related to adjudicating matters concerning a Show Cause Notice issued to a company and others by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence. The Commissioner will act on behalf of several other customs authorities across India, including those in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Nhava Sheva, and Kandla. The notification is dated March 17, 2009, under Notification No. 29/2009-Cus (N.T.).
