of <h1>Customs Officials Empowered to Designate Warehousing Stations Under Section 9 of Customs Act, 1962</h1> Chief Commissioners and Commissioners of Customs are authorized to exercise specific powers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs (C.B.E. & C.) as per the Ministry of Finance's directive. The notification, dated February 27, 2009, issued by the Chief Commissioner of Customs (Preventive) in Chennai, designates No. 32, Kallabhirampuram, Madhuranthankam Taluk, Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu, as a warehousing station under Section 9 of the Customs Act, 1962. This action is in accordance with Notification No. 33/94-Cus (N.T.) from July 1, 1994.
