Appellate authority appointments under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code define regional jurisdiction for appeals. Appointment of appellate authorities under section 111 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 is made by notification in exercise of the power conferred under sub-section (3). Officers named in the table are appointed as appellate authorities for the purposes of the Code within the local limits of their respective jurisdictions, including all-India jurisdiction for the Office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) and separate regional jurisdictions for the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners (Central).
