of <h1>Finance Ministry Corrects Notification: Title Change and Promotion Criteria for Administrative Officer Grades</h1> The corrigendum to Notification No. 18/2009, dated February 18, 2009, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, corrects errors in a previous notification published on January 5, 2005. It amends the title 'Commission of Income Tax' to 'Commissioner of Income Tax' for the posts of Administrative Officer, Grade-II and Grade-III. Additionally, it specifies that promotions to Administrative Officer Grade-III will be made region-wise, correcting the previous reference to Grade-II. The document is authorized by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
