of <h1>Approval Committee Formed for SEZ on Non-Conventional Energy at Kanksa, Led by Development Commissioner</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) focused on non-conventional energy, including solar energy equipment and cells, at Kanksa, Panagarh, District Burdwan, West Bengal. This SEZ is developed by a company referred to as M/s. Enfield Energy Limited. The committee comprises the Development Commissioner of the SEZ as Chairperson, along with members from various government departments, including the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade, Customs, Income Tax, and Finance. Additionally, two officers from the Government of West Bengal and a representative from the developer are included, with provisions for alternate representation in the absence of the Development Commissioner.
