of <h1>Inland Container Depot in IT SEZ recognized under Customs Act Section 7; effective from February 9, 2009.</h1> The Central Government, under the powers granted by the Special Economic Zones Act 2005, has designated February 9, 2009, as the effective date for the establishment of an Inland Container Depot at the information technology and information technology-enabled services Special Economic Zone in Bidhannagar Township, Durgapur, District Burdwan, West Bengal. This SEZ, developed by a private infrastructure company, will be recognized as an Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962.
