Import of aquatic products, including eggs and seeds, now allowed through Visakhapatnam and Kochi ports and airports for entry. The amendment inserts a proviso in the Schedule to the principal notification under the Live-stock Importation Act, 1898, expressly permitting import of aquatic products, including eggs and seeds of fish, crustaceans and mollusks, to be allowed through the sea ports or airports located at Visakhapatnam and Kochi.
