of <h1>Uttarakhand revises SGST rate to 9% u/s 11(1) with effect from 22 September 2025</h1> The Government of Uttarakhand, exercising powers under section 11(1) of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and acting on the recommendations of the GST Council, issues an amendment to its earlier Notification No. 516/2017/9(120)/XXVII(8)/2017 dated 29 June 2017. The amendment modifies the tax rate specified in the Table to that notification by substituting the existing entry under column (4) against Serial No. 1 with a rate of '9%.' The amended notification comes into force on 22 September 2025.
