of <h1>Section 11(1) AP GST Act exempts SGST on key farm goods, books, khadi, medicines from Sept 2025</h1> The Government of Arunachal Pradesh, exercising powers under Section 11(1) of the Arunachal Pradesh GST Act, 2017, supersedes Notification No. 02/2017-State Tax (Rate) and, with effect from 22 September 2025, grants full SGST exemption on specified intra-State supplies of goods. The Schedule exempts a wide range of unprocessed or minimally processed agricultural produce, foodstuffs, seeds, feed, organic manure, books, newspapers, khadi, certain handicrafts, puja items, sanitary products, waste, energy, fertilizers, specific medical drugs and devices, and indigenous handmade musical instruments, subject in many cases to conditions such as being other than pre-packaged and labelled or of seed quality.
