of <h1>Customs Notification adds Section 18A to designated officers' assignment list under Customs Act, 1962 effective on Gazette publication</h1> A government customs authority amends Notification No.26/2022-Customs (N.T.) dated 31 March 2022 by inserting a new entry '(iia) Section 18A' in Sr. No.3, column (3) of the notification's table immediately after entry (ii). The amendment is made under the specified provisions of the Customs Act, 1962 and takes effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. The amendment updates the list of provisions assigned to designated proper officers.
