of <h1>Government substitutes 9% GST rate entry under section 11(1) of the Goods and Services Tax Act, effective 22 September 2025</h1> The State Government, acting under section 11(1) of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and on the GST Council's recommendation, amends its earlier rate notification dated 30 June 2017 by substituting the entry '9%' for the rate shown against serial number 1 in column (4) of the TABLE. The amendment takes effect on 22 September 2025. The notification is issued by the Finance Department in exercise of its statutory powers.
