of <h1>State government revises intra-State GST rates effective 22 September 2025, superseding prior notification with seven schedules</h1> In exercise of powers under the Gujarat GST Act and on GST Council recommendations, the State government supersedes Notification No. 01/2017 and notifies state tax rates for intra-State supply of goods, effective 22 September 2025. Seven schedules prescribe rates: Schedule I 2.5%, Schedule II 9%, Schedule III 20%, Schedule IV 1.5%, Schedule V 0.125%, Schedule VI 0.75% and Schedule VII 14%, with detailed tariff classifications and definitions (including 'pre-packaged and labelled' and unit container rules) and application rules; prior acts done under the superseded notification remain saved.
