of <h1>Notification No. 21/2018 amended: new GST schedule for handicraft and artisanal goods, mostly 2.5% (effective 22 Sep 2025)</h1> The State amends Notification No. 21/2018 to replace its tariff table with a new schedule listing handicraft and artisanal goods (candles, handbags, carved wood, wooden frames, statuettes, cork art, mats, handmade paper, paper-mâché, coir, textiles, stone and ceramic art, glassware, metal and brass artware, lamps, bamboo/rattan furniture, toys, paintings, sculptures, etc.) and assigns GST rates-predominantly 2.5% with select items at 1.5% (e.g., silver filigree, imitation jewellery). The amendment takes effect on 22 September 2025.
