of <h1>State supersedes earlier GST notification to exempt specified intra-State goods under GST Act from 22 Sept 2025</h1> The State issues a notification superseding Notification No. 2/2017 to exempt, from the whole of State GST under the Maharashtra GST Act, specified intra-State supplies of goods listed in the appended Schedule (covering agricultural produce, foodstuffs, seeds, medicines, certain raw materials, handcrafted goods, utilities like electrical energy, and numerous other tariff items), subject to specified exclusions (e.g. pre-packaged/labelled items) and explanations. Annexure I and II list exempt drugs/medicines and indigenous handmade musical instruments. The notification takes effect on 22 September 2025 and preserves actions done before supersession.
