of <h1>Government exempts listed intra-State goods from GST under Section 9 effective 22 September 2025, limited retrospective effect</h1> The State government, superseding its 2017 notification, exempts intra-State supplies of the goods specified in the appended Schedule from state GST under section 9 of the Jharkhand GST Act, effective 22 September 2025, except as to past actions. The Schedule lists extensive tariff headings including live animals, fish, dairy, fruits, vegetables, cereals, seeds, feeds, certain processed and unprocessed foodstuffs, medicines and blood products (Annexure I), electrical energy, municipal and clinical waste, religious offerings, educational and postal items, handmade musical instruments (Annexure II), and other specified goods and conditions (e.g., non pre-packaged/labelled).
