<h1>GST rate set at 9% for goods for petroleum and coal-bed methane operations under section 11(1), effective 22 Sept 2025</h1> The government amends an earlier GST notification to revise the tax rate for goods used in connection with petroleum and coal bed methane operations by substituting '9%' in the specified table entry. The amendment is made under section 11(1) of the West Bengal GST Act on the Council's recommendation and takes effect 22 September 2025.
