of <h1>New state GST notification sets seven intra-state tax rates for listed goods, with detailed classifications, effective 22 September 2025</h1> Under the Haryana GST Act, the government supersedes an earlier notification and notifies state tax rates for intra-State supplies of goods, assigning seven rate bands: 2.5%, 9%, 20%, 1.5%, 0.125%, 0.75% and 14%, each applicable to extensive lists of tariff items set out in Schedules I-VII. The notification specifies detailed itemised classifications, definitions (including 'unit container' and 'pre-packaged and labelled'), interpretive rules and exceptions, and includes special provisions for certain medical, agricultural, energy and assistive devices. The notification takes effect on 22 September 2025.
