of <h1>Government notifies new intra-State GST rates effective 22 September 2025, replacing 2017 schedule with seven rate bands</h1> In exercise of powers under the Delhi GST Act the Government issues a notification, effective 22 September 2025, superseding the 2017 rate notification and prescribing intra-State state-tax rates for specified goods: 2.5% (Schedule I), 9% (Schedule II), 20% (Schedule III), 1.5% (Schedule IV), 0.125% (Schedule V), 0.75% (Schedule VI) and 14% (Schedule VII). The notification, made on Council recommendations, ties rates to tariff headings/entries in the appended schedules, applies subject to statutory provisos and prior acts done, and incorporates interpretative rules, definitions and special explanations for specific goods and combinations.
