of <h1>Andhra Pradesh GST Amendment Act 2024 provisions take effect on staggered dates from October 2024</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh issued a notification bringing into force specific provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2024. Under the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Amendment Act, the government appointed different effective dates for various sections. Section 35 of the Act came into force on October 1, 2024, while sections 2 and 9 will become effective from April 1, 2025. The notification was issued by the Principal Secretary to Government under the Revenue Department (Commercial Taxes) and relates to the implementation of amendments to the state's GST framework established under the original 2017 Act and Rules.
