of <h1>Special Economic Zone for Light Engineering Established as Inland Container Depot Under Customs Act Section 7</h1> The Central Government has designated January 6, 2009, as the effective date for the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for light engineering, including automotive components, at Kalwara and Bhambhoriya Villages, Tehsil-Sanganer, District-Jaipur, Rajasthan. This SEZ, developed by a private company, will function as an Inland Container Depot under Section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962, as per the authority granted by Section 53(2) of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005.
