of <h1>Government extends tax exemption under section 10(23FE) of Income-tax Act until March 31, 2030</h1> The Central Government has extended the tax exemption period under section 10(23FE) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 until March 31, 2030. This notification amends the previous CBDT notification dated October 13, 2022, by substituting the original expiry date of March 31, 2025 with the new extended date. The amendment is effective from April 1, 2025 and was issued by the Ministry of Finance's Central Board of Direct Taxes on July 11, 2025.
