of <h1>CBDT extends tax exemption under section 10(23FE) of Income-tax Act until March 31, 2030</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended the tax exemption period under section 10(23FE) of the Income-tax Act, 1961 until March 31, 2030. This notification amends the previous notification dated May 13, 2021, by substituting the original exemption expiry date of March 31, 2025 with the new extended date. The amendment is effective from April 1, 2025, and applies except for actions taken or omitted between April 1, 2025 and the publication date of this notification.
