of <h1>Mizoram adds food inputs category to State Tax Rate notification under GST Act 2017</h1> The Government of Mizoram Finance Department issued a notification amending the State Tax Rate notification from November 2017. The amendment adds 'food inputs for (a) above' as a new category under S. No. 1, column 3 of the existing table, following the existing provisions for fortified rice kernel supply for government-approved schemes. This amendment was made under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, based on Council recommendations and came into effect from January 16, 2025.
