of <h1>Central Government designates Special Courts in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh under section 435 for speedy company law trials</h1> The Central Government designated Special Courts in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh under section 435 of the Companies Act, 2013, with concurrence from the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court. The designated courts include Chief Judicial Magistrate or Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate courts in SAS Nagar (Punjab jurisdiction), Gurugram (Haryana jurisdiction), and Chandigarh (Union Territory jurisdiction). These Special Courts are established to provide speedy trials for specific offences under the Companies Act, effective from the notification date of June 18, 2025.
