<h1>Proof of origin terminology updated: 'certificate' replaced by 'proof' in rules and form labelling revised.</h1> The Amendment Rules substitute the word 'certificate' with 'proof' throughout specified clauses of rules 2, 3 and 6 of the Customs (Administration of Rules of Origin under Trade Agreements) Rules, 2020, and replace 'CoO' with 'proof of origin' in Form I, Section III, Part B, paragraph 2(g). The notification names the Amendment Rules and provides for commencement upon publication in the Official Gazette under the Central Government's statutory authority.
