of <h1>Government Approves IT and IT-Enabled Services SEZ in Noida, Aligns with SEZ Act 2005 and Rules 2006.</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and IT-enabled services at Plot No. 8, Sector-144, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This approval, granted to a private company, follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The notification, issued on December 18, 2008, confirms the designation of ten hectares of land for this purpose, in accordance with the SEZ Rules, 2006. The development and operation of this SEZ were initially approved on September 3, 2008.
