<h1>Government Approves IT and BPO Special Economic Zone in Nagavara Village Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology, IT-enabled services, and business process outsourcing at Nagavara Village, North Bangalore Taluk, Karnataka. M/s. Karle Infra Projects proposed the SEZ under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government, satisfied with the compliance of necessary requirements, granted approval on June 19, 2007. The notified area covers 10.876 hectares, detailed by specific survey numbers, and is officially recognized as a Special Economic Zone under the relevant legal provisions.
