of <h1>Amendment to Rule 9B: Private companies must issue securities in dematerialised form by June 30, 2025.</h1> The Companies (Prospectus and Allotment of Securities) Amendment Rules, 2025, modifies Rule 9B of the 2014 rules concerning the issuance of securities in dematerialised form by private companies. A new proviso allows private companies, excluding Producer companies and those not classified as small companies as of March 31, 2023, to comply with the sub-rule by June 30, 2025. The amendment is effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, and it is stated that no individual's interests will be adversely affected by this notification's retrospective application.
