of <h1>Real Estate Regulatory Authority in Punjab Granted Tax Exemption Under Section 10(46A) for Assessment Year 2024-25</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 16/2025, granting the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Punjab, an exemption from specified income under Section 10(46A) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This exemption applies from the assessment year 2024-25, provided the authority remains constituted under The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and continues to fulfill one or more purposes outlined in sub-clause (a) of clause (46A) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, Central Board of Direct Taxes.
