of <h1>Revised Foreign Trade Policy 2004-2009 Amendments Effective April 1, 2008, Modifying Policy Duration Under Section 1.2</h1> Provisions related to the export and import of goods and services under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2004-2009, as revised in 2008, have been enacted effective from April 1, 2008. This amendment, issued by the Central Government under the authority of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, modifies paragraph 1.2 concerning the policy's duration. The policy will remain effective until further amendments are made, unless specified otherwise. This notification, issued in the public interest, is signed by the Director General of Foreign Trade and Ex Officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
