of <h1>Kerala amends GST Notification, increasing tax rate on certain commodities from 6% to 9% effective January 2025.</h1> The Government of Kerala has amended Notification G.O.(P) No.102/2018/TAXES, dated 11th July 2018, under the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from 16th January 2025, the amendment changes the tax rate for certain commodities from 6% to 9%, as per the recommendations of the Council. This decision was made in the public interest following the 55th Council meeting.
