of <h1>India Amends Export Rules for Natural Honey: Only Indian-Origin Honey Allowed for USA and EU Markets, No Blending Permitted.</h1> The Central Government has amended Schedule-II of the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2004-09, effective immediately. The amendment introduces Chapter 4, which specifies that the export of natural honey, classified under tariff item HS Code 04090000, is permitted to the USA and European Union (EU) under certain conditions. The honey must be wholly obtained from Indian origin, and blending with honey from other countries is prohibited. This amendment is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
