of <h1>Gujarat Govt Sets Deadlines for Tax Payment Waivers u/s 128A of GST Act; Effective November 2024.</h1> The Gujarat Government has issued a notification under Section 128A of the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, specifying deadlines for tax payments to qualify for waivers of interest and penalties. For registered persons receiving notices or orders under certain clauses of Section 128A, the payment deadline is March 31, 2025. For those issued notices under Section 74, with orders requiring tax redetermination, the deadline is six months from the issuance of the order by the proper officer. This notification becomes effective on November 1, 2024.
