of <h1>Madhya Pradesh GST Notification Amended: Excludes Metal Scrap Suppliers from Chapters 72-81, Effective October 2024.</h1> The Madhya Pradesh State Government has amended Notification No. F A 3-36/2017/1/FIVE (66) dated June 30, 2017, under the Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from October 10, 2024, introduces a proviso stating that the notification does not apply to individuals engaged in supplying metal scrap classified under Chapters 72 to 81 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This change follows recommendations from the Council and is issued by the Commercial Tax Department in Bhopal.
