of <h1>Gujarat's Chhara Added as Designated Customs Port for Imports and Exports in Latest Notification.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended Notification No. 62/1994-Customs (N.T.) to include a new entry for the State of Gujarat. The amendment adds Chhara as a designated customs port for the unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. This change is effective as of November 14, 2024, and is documented in Notification No. 81/2024-Customs (N.T.). The principal notification was previously amended on October 18, 2024.
