Telangana Updates GST Notification: Includes Central and State Government Authorities, Effective October 20, 2023.

The Government of Telangana has issued Notification No. 19/2023, amending Notification No. 4/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment modifies the entry against S. No. 6 in the existing notification, specifying that the Central Government (excluding the Ministry of Railways), State Government, Union territory, or local authority are included. This amendment will take effect from October 20, 2023. The notification was issued by the Revenue (CT-II) Department under the authority of the Governor of Telangana.
