<h1>Telangana Amends GST Notification: Includes and Excludes Ministry of Railways in Tax Provisions, Effective October 20, 2023.</h1> The Government of Telangana has issued Notification No. 14/2023, amending Notification No. 13/2017 related to State Tax (Rate) under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 20, 2023, the amendments include changes to the table in the original notification. Specifically, the words 'and the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)' are added after 'Department of Posts' in one instance, and '[excluding the Ministry of Railways (Indian Railways)]' is added after 'Services supplied by the Central Government' in another. These amendments are made following the recommendations of the Council.
