of <h1>Haryana amends GST Act to allow unregistered persons to supply metal scrap to registered persons, effective Oct 2024.</h1> The Haryana Government has amended Notification No. 38/ST-2 under the Haryana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 10, 2024, the amendment adds a new entry in the notification's table. It specifies that metal scrap, classified under serial numbers 72 to 81, can be supplied by any unregistered person to any registered person. This change is authorized by the Governor of Haryana based on the Council's recommendations and is issued by the Principal Secretary of the Excise and Taxation Department.
