of <h1>Punjab Launches 'Public Tech Platform for Frictionless Credit' for Data Sharing u/s 158A(2) of GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Punjab has notified the 'Public Tech Platform for Frictionless Credit' as the designated system for sharing information via the common portal, based on consent under Section 158A(2) of the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This platform, developed by the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub, is an enterprise-grade IT system designed to facilitate access to information from various data sources, enabling financial service providers and data service providers to collaborate using standardized APIs. This notification is effective from February 22, 2024, as authorized by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Excise and Taxation.
