<h1>Tariff Values Updated for Oils, Metals, and More Under Customs Act Effective October 1, 2024, per Notification 64/2024.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962, effective from October 1, 2024. The revised tariff values are specified for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, crude soybean oil, and brass scrap, among others. Gold and silver tariff values are also updated, with gold set at $857 per 10 grams and silver at $1038 per kilogram. The tariff value for areca nuts remains unchanged at $6868 per metric ton. These changes are part of Notification No. 64/2024-Customs (N.T.).
