The amendments include omitting clause (c) in rule 2, sub-rule (1), and substituting a new Schedule I, which outlines the number of posts, pay bands, and grade pay for positions such as Director General, Additional Director General, Joint Director General, Deputy Director General, and other support staff. The pay scale for the Director General is flexible, subject to the decision of the Competent Authority. These rules took effect upon publication in the Official Gazette.
