The amendment, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, modifies rule 3, sub-rule (5). It stipulates that any matters concerning the form and timing of return preparation, not explicitly covered by the rules, will be referred to the Central Government for a final decision. This amendment is issued under the authority of the Competition Act, 2002, by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
