of <h1>Goa Relaxes Qualification for GST Tribunal Technical Member; 25 Years as Gazetted Officer Now Eligible.</h1> The Government of Goa has issued a notification regarding the appointment of a Technical Member (State) in the State Benches of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal. The notification relaxes the qualification criteria for this role, allowing officers from the Commercial Tax Department of Goa with at least twenty-five years of service as Gazetted Officers to be eligible, instead of the previous requirement of twenty-five years in Group A service. This relaxation is valid for ten years from the notification's publication date. All other conditions under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, remain applicable.
